How To Increase Your Vertical Jump

Some of you would ask why I'm posting an article about vertical jump in fitness blog. The truth us that bodybuilding and fitness can help you to increase you vertical jump.

But first let me tell you how many people (especially athletes) need high vertical jump. It is important in many sports and also shows a good sports condition.
You need good vertical jump if you:
- play basketball
- play volleyball
- play football
- play handball
- practice martial arts
- are professional fighter ... or fighter
- are track-and-field athlete
- like freerunning
and many more......

The jump programs are actually very good for the body. For example, almost everyone NBA player is very good jumper and has well-built body. It is quite possible by training your jump also to make strong and harmonious body.
Because to increase you vertical jump you need to train the whole body, not only legs. Your body is jumping, legs are main but not only. Develop athletism and you will succeed.

How exactly to increase you vertical jump?

You have few options:

1. There are many special vertical jump programs.
Some of them you can find for free on internet (like Air Alert). But many of these programs are for advanced athletes. I cant recommend Air Alert or Kangaroo to beginners. They are too difficult for most of you and the danger of pure results is huge.
I can recommend you to try with one of these programs:
Program 1
Program 2
They will cost you few dollars, but will help you much.

2. Make your own training system.
Nobody knows your body needs better than you. Try with different exercises and find out which are best for you. Traing all you muscles, especially legs, but don't forget to train also back, chest, shoulders etc.
This option is not so recommended if you are beginner because the chance of fail is big. You can waste a lot of time and make nothing.

3. Hide a professional trainer. If you have money to spend, find some good trainer. Hide someone with good experience and good name. You have to trust him so be ware. He could be incompetent or unmotivated.

Finally you have to be serious and permanent.
Increase your jump, it is worth.

As much as I'd like to do these, my knees won't take it. Even if I do take Soma for my knee pain, I don't want to push it. But thanks for sharing.

If you are a begginer, my reccomendation is to try speed training, this is when you do a bodyweight exersise for time (e.g 200 squats in under 3 mins) this is a great way to start
